The Fall 2026 Commencement ceremonies will be held on Friday, Dec. 11, 2026, at the Colorado Convention Center (700 14th St, Denver, CO 80216).Ìý
Morning Ceremony | 9:30 a.m.
Afternoon Ceremony | 2:30 p.m.
Each ceremony will last approximately two hours.
Doors will open at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., and seating is first-come, first served. Entry lines can be especially long at the Colorado Convention Center, so it is recommended that all guests come early. Plan for a minimum of 30 minutes to enter, navigate to the correct Hall, go through security and find seating.
Family, friends and guests are not required to register in advance, and you are not required to have tickets. However, if you need accessible seating (for a wheelchair, for example) you must register in advance through your graduating student. There is no limit on the number of guests each graduate can bring.
The ceremony will be livestreamed to the Commencement homepage for guests who are unable to attend in person.
For the safety of all guests, attendees and their belongings are subject to inspection before entering the venue. Please have bags open and ready for inspection upon arrival.
Guests who appear intoxicated may be denied entry. Colorado Convention Center management reserves the right to make final decisions regarding prohibited items.

To help maintain a safe and comfortable environment, the Colorado Convention Center has procedures in place for guests who need prescription medications during the event.
Bring only the amount of medication needed for the duration of the ceremony.
Prescription medication must be in the original prescription container with the patient’s name and dosage clearly listed.
Venue medical staff may verify that the medication matches the label and the guest’s identification. Guests carrying more medication than necessary may be asked to return excess medication to their vehicle.
The Colorado Convention Center is located in downtown Denver at 700 14th Street. There are several entrances into the facility, but the most common entrances are located off of 14th Street between Stout and California Street.

Once inside, please look for Family and Friends signage to guide you to the appropriate ceremony location.
The Colorado Convention Center provides access to an onsite covered parking garage.ÌýThe garage provides access to the Colorado Convention Center and the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
The garage is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ALL visitors and guests attending ANY event or business in the downtown area. For parking in the garage, please arrive early and remember to use the automated pay stations. Contactless payment is offered through text or QR code. Once you have parked walk up to any pay machine and scan the QR code or use the text prompt to purchase parking.

Park up to 8 Hours: $13.00
Park up to 12 Hours: $16.00
Park up to 18 Hours: $18.00
Park up to 24 Hours: $26.00

To reserve your parking spot for the Colorado Convention Center, visit .
Beginning June 7, 2026, RTD will suspend the D, H, and L light rail lines as part of the Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project, which is expected to continue through the first quarter of 2027. These changes may impact travel to and from the Colorado Convention Center and downtown Denver stations.
To help maintain service during construction, RTD will reinstate the C Line between Union Station and Mineral Station and introduce a temporary T Line operating between Lincoln Station and I-25•Broadway Station. Riders are encouraged to use RTD’s Next Ride app to plan trips and view updated schedules during the project.
To ensure the safety and smooth flow of the Commencement ceremonies, guests will not be permitted on or near the Commencement stage.
Our official ceremony photography vendor, The Grad Team, will capture photos throughout the event. Within approximately two weeks after the ceremony, each graduate will receive an email containing a personalized link to view their photos and purchase copies if desired. Photo purchases are completely optional.
The Tivoli Station Bookstore will be on-site at the Colorado Convention Center on Commencement-day and will be selling commemorative °®ÒºAƬ merchandise.
Printed English programs will be available to order here when they become available. Additionally, digital versions of the English and Spanish programs will be linked here at that time.
ADA requests must be made through your graduate through their mandatory RSVP, which is done on a platform called Tassel.Ìý The deadline to complete the form is Nov. 18, 2026, at 9:55 p.m. The Commencement Team is only able to fulfill seating requests; all other pertinent ADA information is available below. Additionally, you may review the Colorado Convention Center’s Accessibility Statement .
Any guests with mobility restrictions should plan to use the ADA drop-off zone along 14th Street, near the Big Blue Bear.

Designated handicapped parking is available on all three levels of the Colorado Convention Center parking garage. A valid state-issued handicapped placard or license plate is required. All disability parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis and requires payment at the automated pay stations.

There is a separate seating check in and section for those who need ADA accommodations. On Commencement Day, volunteers will be available to assist with ADA check-in and showing guests to their seats. Volunteers will be wearing a red t-shirt or sweatshirt.
Note, with each ADA seat, four additional seats within this section may be requested so your guests can sit together. This must be included in your graduates’ ADA request through their mandatory RSVP, by Nov. 18 at 9:55 p.m. MT.
